Insure family members through CVZ

The CVZ (Health Insurance Board) is a government institution that operates in the field of statutory healthcare insurances: the Health Insurance Act (Zvw) and the Exceptional Medical Expenses Act (AWBZ). One of the tasks of the CVZ is to organise the administration for the care of family members, residing abroad, of migrant workers who are insured in the Netherlands. The CVZ is responsible for collecting the healthcare insurance contribution owed by family members of Dutch insured residing abroad. The premium for your own insurance must be paid to the healthcare insurer with whom you took out the policy, such as HollandZorg.
